Visiting the Covered Bridges of Snyder, Perry, and Juniata Counties (PA).

A few weeks ago I had a chance to visit 10 covered bridges in Snyder, Perry and Juniata counties (PA) with fellow photographer and Uncovering PA creator Jim Cheney. We spent roughly 9 hours navigating the back roads in search of history and heritage, finding some of the bridges to be in excellent shape and others seemingly on the verge of collapse.

Here is a slideshow featuring a sampling of my shots from that day. I could easily write a lengthy, drawn out post on the history of all 10, but I'll let the pictures do the talking for now.
